HCSS, a 15-time “Best Company to Work For in Texas” software company in Sugar Land is searching for a Sales Enablement Intern! You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of curriculum e-learning development, instructor led-training, product knowledge, and system processes to support our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on, industry experience while contributing to the development of impactful learning content. This is a PAID internship where you will gain in-depth skills that will take you further to success. 

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship
  • Pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Education, Sales, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Exposure to authoring tools/software, e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc. is a plus, but not required
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn

What will you be doing?  

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on existing instructional materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness and learn industry best practices.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with teammates to design and develop engaging e-learning, job aids, newsletter articles, and instructor-led training materials from start to finish.
  • Learning Framework: Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to create content that meet the diverse needs of our audience.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Gather standardized feedback on training materials and make necessary revisions to enhance learner experience and outcomes.

Here’s what to expect:

This internship is semester-based and we’ll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.

Training and mentoring will be provided and you’ll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You’ll have numerous opportunities to continuously grow your knowledge base.
