WHO WE NEED

We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Manager (Mobile) who is eager to jump in and lead a couple of development teams using mobile and web technologies and coach a group of 10-15 people (developers and testers).
If you're a fit, the following things should sound like you:

  • Proven experience managing software development teams (typically at least 2-3 years)
  • Demonstrated capability in overseeing multiple products and platforms
    • Experience managing either iOS or Android teams is a plus
  • Successful track record in leading cross-functional and interdepartmental projects with significant impact
  • History of implementing sustainable and impactful changes within development teams and among direct reports, utilizing best practices and new technologies
  • Strong background in hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing developers and leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and/or concurrent projects with frequently changing priorities
  • Hands-on experience with iOS or Android programming, including knowledge of Swift or Kotlin, is highly desirable

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively lead and coordinate teams at the product and department level
  • Meet/exceed department-level quality and change management standards while seeking improvements
  • Evaluate team construction and move resources to build the right team to solve the problems they face
  • Maintain strong working relationships with executive and management peers across the organization
  • Be capable of solving cross-team problems without Director / Executive support
  • Be a critical contributor to department senior leadership meetings
