Sales Development Intern - Spring 2025
HCSS, a 15-time “Best Company to Work For in Texas” software company in Sugar Land is searching for a Sales Development Intern to join our Lead Generation Team! This is a PAID internship where you will gain in-depth skills that will take you further to success. You will make an impact by contributing to our sales teams to deliver high-quality software solutions to our customers.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- You’re currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship
- You’re cooperative and like to lend a helping hand to others. We have a collaborative culture here at HCSS where teamwork makes the dream work!
- You have an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection
What will you be doing?
- Start your career by understanding our industry, the software solutions we sell, and our sales methodology
- Assist the sales team through generating and building lists
- Assess and recommend which lists should be continued/discontinued, key areas and industries to target
- Perform outbound calls to prospective customers
- Learn how to use Salesforce, Zoominfo, Drift
Nice to Have:
- Currently in a University Program, preferably Business
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Work well in an open, collaborative environment
Here’s what to expect:
This internship is semester-based and we’ll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.
Training and mentoring will be provided and you’ll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You’ll have numerous opportunities to continuously grow your knowledge base.
